Have you ever heard the sound of tinkling bells in the trees? For me this is the sound I hear when goldcrest are about. As they move from branch to branch, their little song like busy little bells.
The illustration is drawn by hand using my favourite medium of fountain pen and watercolour. The ink is Noodler's bulletproof black. Tinkling Bells encapsulates a number of observations taken from my nature journalling with my dog Jess.
